Race for the Cure

Hi Everyone!

We will be doing the Race for the Cure again this year. 75% of the money raised at this event stays in Utah for Breast Cancer research. We would love to have anyone participate in the race who would like to. Our team is "Ronda's Rowdy Runners" and you can go to the Komen SLC website to register for the race which is on May 10 at 8:30 am. We had a lot of fun last year! Our team goal is to raise $1,000. Donations can be made at the same website, choose our team so we can get credit! We hope to see an end to Breast Cancer one of these days!. We appreciate all who participated and donated last year! Empty Nesters? Not even close!

Well, it was looking like Rob and I would become empty nesters in the near future, but plans have changed! ALL NINE OF US are living together now! Cole and Jessica are between apartments. Cole got a job in downtown Salt Lake and they are relocating to Salt Lake County so he can take public transit and she can take the car to work in Provo. They are staying for us until they find a place that is nice and they can afford. Stephanie has just moved back from Provo for the summer. Last summer she stayed in Provo, but she is tired of that and is living with us until the semester starts in August. Things are never dull around here. Nathan and Daniel are not at home a lot because of school and extra activities and they both also work at Target. Christopher is of course getting married in September but will be with us until then. It looks like a long crowded summer for us. It is fun to have everyone here, but it will be fun for them to have their own places too. By the time Christopher gets married, we will be down to Rob, Daniel and I. That will be a different experience and I can tell you that Daniel is NOT excited about it. He loves to have everyone around and doesn't like to be the ONLY child. We are looking forward to the time that the temperatures stay nice and don't get all freezing on us anymore. Rob trimmed the trees and I am getting ready to plant some vegetables indoors and get them ready to go outside. We are all happy and healthy and we love life!

Christopher and Brittany are engaged!

Today is Monday, April 14 and Christopher and Brittany just got engaged this afternoon! They will be getting married on September 25 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are very excited for them and they are really happy!
